When I started Massage Therapy and Bodyworks back in 2009, I had one goal: to help people find relief from pain no one else could fix.
At the time, I’d already been a licensed massage therapist for nearly three years, working in day spas and chiropractic offices while finishing one of the most advanced certifications available — Precision Neuromuscular Therapy. That training taught me how to assess muscle length, perform orthopedic tests, and trace pain back to its source. It also made me a little different from most massage therapists. I wasn’t just “rubbing where it hurt.” I was problem-solving.
But I was also in my early twenties, and most of my clients were a few decades older. Convincing people that some young therapist in Milford could help with long-term pain wasn’t easy. Still, I had a clear mission — and a quiet determination to become the best massage therapist in town.

From a Tiny Room on Main Street to a Full-Scale Milford Massage Clinic
When I first opened my doors, I had zero clients — just a dream and a massage table. My first office was a small space on Main Street in old Milford, long before it became the lively, trendy area it is today.
I was one of the first local massage therapists to offer online booking, back when that wasn’t the norm. It let me deliver great customer service without needing a receptionist — and made it easy for clients to schedule whenever they needed.
As the years went by, my client list grew, and I outgrew that little office. In 2014, I moved into my current clinic at 73 Powhatton Drive, Milford, Ohio, where I’ve been ever since. It’s quieter, more comfortable, with easy parking — and plenty of room for my practice to evolve.
Massage That Goes Beyond Relaxation
Today, my schedule stays full, thanks to loyal clients I’ve been working with for 10 to 15 years. I treasure those relationships — but my passion is still helping people in pain.
I specialize in the “I don’t know what I did, but now my back hurts” kind of problems.
My goal is to help you feel better and get back to doing what you love as quickly as possible. The funny thing is, once people feel better, they tend to keep coming back — not because they have to, but because massage therapy helps them stay well (and it feels good, too).
This isn’t a spa with fluff and fancy robes. It’s a calm, comfortable space where you’ll get massage therapy focused on results. We’ll start by talking about what’s going on in your body, then I’ll think through what might be causing it. I draw on a wide range of advanced techniques, but you’ll never pay extra for any particular modality. In my massage services, I simply use what works best for you.

How My Work Has Evolved
Over the years, I’ve earned certifications in multiple massage modalities and expanded my knowledge beyond the table. I’m a certified personal trainer (though I don’t offer personal training as a service), a corrective exercise specialist, yoga and meditation teacher, and I’ve studied somatic education and neuroplasticity — all with one goal in mind: to help people move and live better.
Most recently, I became a certified health coach, and that’s shaping the next phase of my work. While I’ll always continue seeing massage clients here in Milford, I’m now focused on helping people stay active, reduce stress, and build sustainable habits that support long-term health. I believe this is the key to aging well — and it’s something I see proven every day in my clients.
Looking Ahead
Massage Therapy and Bodyworks has been part of the Milford community for more than 15 years. From a one-room studio to a thriving wellness practice, my mission hasn’t changed — to provide massage therapy that relieves pain, restores function, and supports lasting wellness.
If you’re searching for Milford massage or looking for a therapist who can help you move easier and feel better, I’d love to work with you.
